Search Engine Keywords Selection Part 2There is an abundance of software products available to you that will help you in the popularity factor. They rate the keywords and phrases by popularity, giving you the results of instances of that specific word used within a search engine. If you go with software like WordTracker, you will have the ability to view different variations of the phrases and words you have chosen. Search Engine Keyword Selection - Part 2:- The higher the rating given by the software, the higher the traffic results. The problem with this method is that with higher popularity, you will have to fight your competition for search engine placement. If you have the popular keyword, but are placed at the bottom of the engine, you will not benefit from traffic; potential customers will likely never even see your website. Popularity alone should not be the only decision-making element in a good choice of keywords. Specificity should be taken into consideration as well. If you create a very specific keyword, this makes it easier and more likely that a customer will be able to find your website. As an example, let us say you have a bodywork company, but you have high ranking in popularity using a keyword like “automobile company”. This keyword does not contain specificity about your website. You need to consider a keyword that is specific about your business and website. It will not do you any good, if you use specific keywords, you will get customers looking specifically for your services and products. Furthermore, the more specific you are in your keywords, the less competition you will have. Putting yourself in your customer’s shoes again, you need to consider motivation. As a seller, it may be difficult to determine exactly what will motivate your potential customers to purchase your products or services. Examples seem to work well, so why not try another one. Let us say you have a customer looking for a position as a technician in specific area. You have two choices, “Chicago job listings” or “Chicago technician recruiters”, which one would be more suitable for that customer. If it were you, you would likely choose number two. With that keyword, you are targeting potential customers that have chosen this career path, have the experience needed, and are looking for your services. With the first keyword, you would likely get a person who has just graduated school and is in the process of figuring out where they want to go with their lives. Your goal is to lure people to your website that have the need for your products and services, ready to buy. This means you need to work with the keywords until you come up with targeted and specific keywords and phrases to bring motivation to the consumers, and the consumers to your website. Even after you have made the decision on which keywords you should use, you are not finished by any means. These must be evaluated consistently for performance with the many different search engines available. The reason for this is that trends, time, and popularity change continually, this means you will need to as well. Again, there are some tools available across the internet that can help you in this task. They can judge your keywords and phrases, in the search engines on effectiveness. Furthermore, some software can help you in analyzing the behavior of the customer in terms of the traffic. This enables you to determine which of your keywords are working to bring in the motivated visitors. This is just a brief snippet Read More Here
